ASI (Aluminium Stewardship Initiative) has officially welcomed Guangdong Hongjin Aluminum Investment Co., LTD, notably recognized as Huajin Aluminum Group, into its fold as a new Production and Transformation member. This development marks a significant step in the expansion of sustainable practices within the global aluminium industry.

Established in 1996, Huajin Aluminum Group has garnered attention for its specialization in pioneering new aluminium-based materials and its unique approach to the supply of molten aluminium. The company stands out for its emphasis on recycling, prominently featuring a grading reduction process for recycled aluminium, affirming its commitment to sustainable and green practices.

In its three-decade journey, Huajin Aluminum Group has established an expansive operational presence. The group boasts 10 factories and 2 dedicated Research and Development Centers spread across Central, South, and East China. The company’s significant annual production capacity, reaching over 850,000 metric tons, underscores its influential position in the aluminium sector.

The group’s aluminium products find extensive applications in diverse high-demand sectors, including automotive manufacturing, 5G communication technologies, consumer electronics (noted as 3C electronics), and various new energy and energy storage industries. Notably, Huajin Aluminum ensures over 60% direct supply of molten aluminium, which substantially cuts down material burn loss, energy requirements, and overall costs for die-casters. This strategy enhances the environmental sustainability of critical industries like automotive and communications.

“Huajin Aluminum Group voluntarily joined ASI to fully implement the concept of green and sustainable development,” stated Kwong Manxing, Chairman/President of Huajin Aluminum Group. “Based on the development concept of ‘energy saving, emission reduction, environmental protection, limited resources, unlimited reuse,’ we will continue to implement green and low-carbon development, and create a green and environmental protection industry chain integrating ‘aluminium alloy recycling, sorting, smelting, aluminium alloy ingot/liquid production, direct supply and distribution services’.”

Huajin Aluminum Group’s comprehensive services span the entire production chain, offering solutions from recycled aluminium and crushing processing to smelting, including harmless aluminium ash treatment and production of aluminium liquid/ingots. This approach has enabled a closed-loop recycling process for the company. Huajin has also achieved multiple grades certification from SCS-RC Kingfisher, confirming that its products are composed of 100% recycled materials.

The group’s membership with ASI reinforces its dedication to energy-saving and emission reduction principles within the aluminium industry. As a participant in the global push for a more sustainable future, Huajin Aluminum Group is positioned to significantly contribute to achieving dual carbon goals and fostering the earth’s green development.
